Michael serves as the Africa Regional Coordinator for the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, where he plays a pivotal role in advocating for climate action and raising awareness about the urgent need for environmental protection. His work involves engaging with stakeholders, policymakers, and local communities to promote sustainable practices and policies across the African region.
As the Team Lead and Executive Director of GIFSEP (Global Initiative for Food Security and Ecosystem Preservation), Michael actively works towards his passion for training people on the best sustainable practices in land management, food security, and environmental conservation. One of Michael’s unique goals is to provide clean energy solutions to two million displaced people across Nigeria. He envisions implementing solar equipment, ensuring access to reliable and sustainable energy sources. By focusing on clean energy, he aims to improve marginalized communities’ quality of life while reducing the environmental impact.
